Terms of Service

These terms govern your enrollment and use of SOL Driving School's programs and services. Please read them carefully.

DriversEdPro Platform

SOL Driving School uses DriversEdPro — a third-party software platform — to manage courses, scheduling, and student accounts. Use of that platform is governed by its own separate terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in any program, booking a lesson, or using any service offered by SOL Driving School (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are enrolling on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are that minor's parent or legal guardian and you accept these terms on their behalf.

These terms apply to all students, parents, and guardians who interact with SOL Driving School, whether in person, by phone, or through any digital platform we use.

2. Enrollment & Registration

Enrollment in our programs is subject to availability. Submitting an enrollment form does not guarantee a spot until you have received confirmation from a SOL Driving School staff member.

Teen students must be between the ages of 15 and 17 to enroll in the teen driver education program. For behind-the-wheel driving sessions, a valid Washington State learner's permit is required before lessons may begin.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during enrollment. SOL Driving School reserves the right to refuse enrollment or terminate services to anyone who provides false information.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of a driving lesson. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee as determined by your instructor at the time of enrollment.

Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in the forfeiture of scheduled lesson times or suspension of services at our discretion.

SOL Driving School reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to weather conditions, vehicle issues, or instructor availability. In such cases, we will notify you as early as possible and work with you to find an alternative time at no additional charge.

4. Payment Policy

Program and lesson fees are discussed and agreed upon prior to enrollment. All fees are due in accordance with the payment schedule communicated by SOL Driving School staff at the time of enrollment.

SOL Driving School does not provide refunds for completed lessons or sessions. Refund eligibility for uncompleted sessions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

We offer payment plans in certain circumstances. Please discuss this with our staff prior to enrollment. Failure to maintain agreed-upon payment schedules may result in suspension of services until the account is brought current.

5. Code of Conduct

All students, parents, and guardians are expected to treat SOL Driving School instructors and staff with respect. Abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behavior toward any staff member is grounds for immediate termination of services without refund.

Students must arrive for lessons sober and alert. Any student who appears impaired or otherwise unfit to drive will have their lesson cancelled immediately, and this will count as a late cancellation for scheduling purposes.

During in-vehicle lessons, the instructor has final authority over all driving decisions and safety protocols. Students must follow instructor directions at all times.

6. Limitation of Liability

SOL Driving School carries all required liability insurance as mandated by Washington State. Our training vehicles are equipped with dual controls for safety.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SOL Driving School's liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to that claim.

SOL Driving School is not responsible for outcomes relating to Washington State licensing examinations. Completion of our programs does not guarantee passage of any state-administered test.

7. DriversEdPro Platform

SOL Driving School uses DriversEdProas its course management and student portal platform. DriversEdPro is a third-party software product and is not owned or operated by SOL Driving School. When you create an account on DriversEdPro or use its platform, you are also subject to DriversEdPro's own terms of service and privacy policy.

SOL Driving School is not responsible for any issues arising from your use of the DriversEdPro platform itself, including but not limited to technical outages, data handling by DriversEdPro, or changes to DriversEdPro's features or policies.

Please review DriversEdPro's policies directly:
